Mission GREEN Mumbai is an initiative inspiring Citizens to Grow his own oxygen by planting a tree.

This platform has brought more than 2000 Mumbaikars together for a GREEN & Pollution free Mumbai Metropolitan Region.

I was introduced to Mission Green Mumbai by my cousin brother. He told me to take the initiative and participate towards saving the environment. I began gathering mango seeds since then. With the help of my family, I washed them, dried them in the sun and dispatched them. I consistently sent mango seeds to Mission Green Mumbai, every two weeks or so.

Why Mango Seeds? The people of this foundation take these seeds and grow them into trees. Why should one throw the seeds away if they can be given a new life - a rebirth? These seeds have helped many farmers to earn their living. I started collecting seeds since then. I took the seeds from my neighbours and relatives too. From May 2022 to July 2022, I collected around 350 - 400 mango seeds.
